Never the fastest supercar on the market, the Lotus Esprit was still a success thanks to its styling, excellent driving dynamics and competitive price (plus various movie appearances). In fact, it lasted nearly 30 years in the manufacturer's lineup since 1976. The V8 GT is one of the final updates to this car, a true british icon of the 20th century.
This 2002 model has a 3.5 liter engine boosted by twin turbos, able to push the car from 0 to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds for a (limited) top speed of 280Km/h. Most specs and performance are the same of a regular V8 Esprit, with a few extras like the steering wheel by Momo, increased rev limit and a small weight reduction.
